Come along and talk to us about yourexperiences of health and social care services or perhaps you have an enquiry about the healthcare systems. Either way We are there for the public in what is sure to be a great day. Here is some of the events taking place.

Woolley & Parks Main Ring

As well as the wealth of equine expertise that we come to associate with the Driffield Show the main ring will also feature entertainment from The Kangaroo Kid who will be providing us with his breath taking stunts using a quad bike throughout the day – how high will he go??

Matt Coulter, the Kangaroo Kid, is a world class stuntman from Gold Coast, Australia. His stunts are performed on Quad bikes on which he has created many "Guinness Book of Records" records throughout the years.

In 2018 Matt will be offering one of his biggest fans the opportunity of a lifetime to be part of his shows – so a big Kanga adventure awaits 30 Year old Paul Hannam.

Paul started racing quads at the age of 21, coming 4th three years in a row at the infamous Western Beach Race. In 2011 Paul became South West Enduro Champion and came 3rd in the British Quad Championships.

The show includes stunts using specially fitted quad-bikes  (one even fitted with a roll cage) and they finish the show with a spectacular jump over anything that is put in their path, be it cars, trucks or tractors (Matt has even jumped a flying aeroplane).

The Kangaroo Kids showmanship captures the crowd and keeps them captivated for the duration of their performance.

Using a microphone in his helmet that is linked to the shows main PA system, the Kangaroo Kid keeps the crowd informed with a witty commentary, while displaying incredible skill and agility manoeuvring his selection of quad bikes around the arena.

Activity Arena

Whilst the Woolley and Parks Main Ring at the Driffield Show is nationally renowned for the high calibre of equine excellence that it attracts the Activity Arena  is fast on its heels as a favourite with families.  One of the headline acts this year will be the Mighty Smith Show.

Mighty Smith Show

Adrian Smith, 5th in the World’s Strongest Man and three times winner of Uk’s Strongest Man Competition, presents a show geared for family fun with visual humour and audience participation.  Tearing up Argos books, bending six inch nails in his teeth, walking on a bed of broken glass, holding a chair with a seated lady on it in his teeth are all in a days work for the Mighty Smith!  Make sure your children are at the Activity Arena during Mighty’s performance to take part in the childrens’ tug of war and win a prize! All these along with more serious feats of strength, including a vehicle pull make for an exciting spectacle.
