15/05/2018

An exciting new opportunity to shape the future of local health services in the Humber, Coast and Vale area.

The role

The Humber, Coast and Vale Partnership (STP) is establishing a Strategic Digital Board to lead and oversee our efforts to transform health and care through better use of digital technology. The Strategic Digital Board will be responsible for developing a digital strategy for the health and care system in our local area.

The person

We are seeking an individual with significant experience of local health and care services who is passionate about finding ways to improve services for the future, in particular through the use of digital technology. You should live, work or study within the Humber, Coast and Vale area and have an interest in innovation and digital technology.

We are looking for someone who can see the big picture and can challenge us to think creatively about the potential to transform health and care services through better use of digital technology.

You should be passionate, energetic and willing to challenge conventional thinking.

What’s involved?

It is envisaged that the Board will meet quarterly for up to 3 hours during the working week (Mon-Fri, 9-5). In addition to this, it is expected that there will be a requirement to read meeting papers in advance and potentially take part in other discussions outside of these meetings.

Overall time commitment is not expected to exceed 3 hours per month. Training and support will be provided on request. The role is voluntary, however, all out of pocket expenses will be covered as per Hull CCG’s Policy for Engaging with Patients and the Public.
