Have your say on how health information should be shared to support safer care
The changes planned in health and social care over the next decade, from reducing premature births to helping people live healthier, longer and more independent lives, are all underpinned by better use of information and technology to improve care.
To realise these benefits, we need to agree what information should be shared to support safe, high quality joined-up care and help people take greater control of their health and care.
The Professional Record Standards Body is conducting a survey on behalf of NHS England’s Local Health and Care Record programme to define this in a ‘core information standard’.
Please share your views on the draft standard by completing the survey, which closes on 30 April 2019, and share this widely as we are keen to receive as much feedback as possible. A useful FAQ document about this work is also available.
