Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire is the consumer champion for local health and social care services. It takes the experiences that people have of local care and uses them to help shape local services, leading to the outcome of improved delivery and commissioning of health and social care services across the East Riding.
The contract for the delivery of Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire is held by Meeting New Horizons (MNH), and we are currently recruiting for the following position.
Salary: £28,000 pa
Reporting to the MNH Deputy Chief Officer, the role of the Healthwatch Manager is to lead and drive forward the development and delivery of Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire. The post holder will work closely with colleagues and partners and ensure the successful delivery of the annual workplan, as well as having responsibility for designing and leading on projects, and forming collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders. The post holder will need to have a good understanding of the local health care arena, and also possess excellent project and person management abilities and report writing skills.
