Humber Celebrates Hull Pride
01/08/2018
Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Hull Pride! Over 50,000 people took to the streets to celebrate love and share their rainbow colours last weekend.
Staff and family were invited to join the rainbow parade through Hull, with the Trust having a stand in Queens Garden where the day’s festival took place.
Here’s some of the feedback staff have shared about their day…
“Absolutely fantastic day, from setting up the stand, to joining in the parade and meeting lots of people at our stand during the day.”
“Everyone involved had a great day. Lots of team building and meeting new people from different teams. The morale was high and we can’t wait to do it again next year!”
“We already have new ideas to make Humber’s contribution to Hull Pride even more exciting next time round – can’t wait!”
“The selfie frame was a huge success – we even managed to get a selfie of deputy lord mayor Steve Wilson and his partner deputy lord consort Karl Hudder together with our own Trust Chaplain Eve Rose!”
“I have never worked with such a passionate set of people who gave up a lot of time to support with the planning, preparation and on the day activities. However I’m sure everyone will agree when I say it didn’t feel like work at all, it was a great day, full of fun, laughter and there was a real positive energy and buzz in the air – not to mention the bubbles coxing people into our stand!”
