Youth & Community Outreach Officer

Salary: £20,000 pa

Full time (35 hours per week)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to co-ordinate and deliver community outreach activity aimed specifically at children & young people, vulnerable adults, and hard to reach groups. In line with the Healthwatch strategic plan, you will design and implement innovative and effective means for gathering the health and social care experiences of children and young people and those who are more vulnerable. You will also develop mechanisms to ensure that Healthwatch is well known and accessible to these groups and ensure that key information is provided to them via the most appropriate means. 

The post holder will be required to work autonomously and be self-motivated, with the ability to work in a timely manner to workplans and ensure effective recording and monitoring of progress. You will also work to becoming an expert in the issues affecting these groups and the availability of health, social care and voluntary services in the East Riding. 

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
