World Alzheimer's Day 2020

East Riding Dementia Services and Support

GoBlueforAlz this World Alzheimer's Day – Markham Review

The pandemic and self-isolation has had a negative effect on the wellbeing of many people living with dementia. This #WorldAlzheimersDay, we're encouraging everyone to start a conversation about dementia. Talking about dementia helps reduce the stigma & fear that surround the condition, and connects you with other people affected.

The Alzheimer's Society offers support and advice to help people with dementia and their families — you are not alone. If you're affected by dementia, their dementia advisers can provide information and support. Just call the Dementia Connect support line on 0333 150 3456.

Alternatively you can visit https://www.dementiaeastriding.org.uk/ for information on what services and support is available in the East Riding if you are worried about your memory or have a diagnosis of dementia.
