Community Transport Options
The VCSE (Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise) Collaborative, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and the Integrated Care Board (ICB) have been reviewing the different transport options available for residents when attending medical appointments.
One conclusion that came from this review, based on what we heard directly from residents, was that there is a need for increased awareness of the transport services available to help residents get to their appointments.
We have devloped this online tool, with up to date information, as a way of ensuring East Riding residents of which transport options are avaiable to them and the services that can be offered.
Beverley Community Lift Car Service
Minibus Service
“We will take you to the supermarket or you can enjoy one of our outings. Or if you are a community group, we will take you wherever you wish to go. Our fleet of minibuses can help with wheelchair transport too and we can provide a passenger assistant for you if needed.”

HART MEDiBUS
Hornsea and surrounding villages MEDiBUS service operates Monday to Thursday serving 09:00 to 15:30 appointments times and Friday serving 09:00 to 11:00 appointment times.
Hospitals served are:
Hull hospitals including, Hull Royal Infirmary, Brocklehurst, Hull & East Riding Eye Hospital, Women and Children’s hospital and Westbourne Avenue Clinics.
East Riding hospitals including, Castlehill Hospital, Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital and East Riding Community Hospital Beverley.

The fare is £10.00 for the return journey, there is a £5.00 discount if you are of bus pass age. Single fare is £5.00 and £2.50

Goole GoFar
MediBus 1
“Our MediBus service offers a pre-booked, door-to-door service to Goole and Scunthorpe hospitals and doctors’ appointments. It can also be used for visiting the dentists, opticians, chiropodists and other health related appointments. Hospital visiting can also be accommodated, however time restrictions will apply.”
