Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Project

Awareness of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis needs to be raised.

A lack of education of these conditions can often lead to a misdiagnosis and delays in receiving support and treatment. This has led to severe symptoms being normalised- this needs to change!

At Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire, we would like to hear from anyone living with diagnosed or suspected Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

What will we do with this information?

Our goal is to give the voices of people with lived experience of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis a platform to be heard.

When we have gathered the experiences from across the East Riding region, analysis of anonymous feedback will take the form of a Healthwatch report.

Recommendations based on the feedback we receive will be created with providers of health and social care services.

By sharing these experiences, there is an opportunity to highlight good practice of healthcare services alongside areas that may need improvement.

We aim to promote improvement in health and social care for all!

Here's how you can get involved!

If you are a resident of East Riding of Yorkshire who has either suspected or diagnosed Endometriosis or Adenomyosis, or you care or support someone who does, we want to hear from you.
